Scope

This workshop explores innovative strategies to enhance older adults' well-being and social connections, with a particular emphasis on the role of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). It invites researchers and practitioners to present studies and initiatives that strengthen social bonds, foster meaningful interactions, and address social isolation among seniors. The workshop encourages exploration of diverse ICT-based tools and methodologies designed to overcome the unique challenges faced by this population, aiming to improve their quality of life, independence, and community engagement. Contributions that examine how ICT can support social, cultural, or recreational integration, as well as other forms of support for active and participatory aging, are especially welcome. The goal is to advance innovative, technology-enabled practices that empower older adults and promote their inclusion in a connected society.
